Meet Brando Menjivar

Founder, Speaker, Certified Professional Coach CPC, ELI-MP

“All growth begins with self-awareness”, my coach said.

Have you ever had someone drop a truth bomb on you before, that utterly destroyed your long-held limiting belief system?

Sometimes this can be completely embarrassing, but for me in that moment, and really understanding the depth and meaning of the endless possibilities of living within this truth, blasted away the barricade of my excuses, and self-imposed suffering that shuttered me from seeing a world of opportunity.

I had been working in a director role at a non-profit job in Los Angeles, making a difference in my community, but…

somehow I felt stuck and burnt out doing something good.

I was feeling the tension of not knowing what to do next, and yet knowing deep down inside there was something new right around the corner. I knew I was made for more. Through my personal development and coaching, my self-awareness and growth skyrocketed. I began to see that the only thing that was stopping me was no one but me.

I had chosen some limiting beliefs about myself…

“I don’t have what it takes to be a great dad, have a sustainable business, and achieve my dreams.”

I don’t come from a prestigious school.

I don’t have enough college degrees.

I’m not smart and good enough like “them.”

I don’t come from a “privileged” background.

I’m Latino.

One of my businesses failed. It will just happen again.

I’m not doing enough with my life.

I’m a dad so having a dad bod is normal.

Adulting means no more fun. Just work.

I don’t have enough money … and on and on …

I knew I had to break up with my limitations. So I did.

I found my breakthrough.

I replaced my limiting beliefs with liberating beliefs about myself.

I am enough.

I have enough.

To be and do anything.

Life is a journey and it's beautiful. There are no obstacles.

Only opportunities.

Do it Afraid.

Healthy things grow.

You either grow or die.

Have some grit but learn to give yourself grace.

Life is short, and you only get one. Why not take a risk? What’s the worst that can happen? Try things. Learn to fail forward. Get up, brush yourself off, and take another next step.

Fast forward to today. I’m a husband and a daddy to two beautiful kids. I’ve worked in multiple non-profits, and I’ve helped launch a couple of them from scratch. I’ve recruited and developed hundreds of people to make a difference in their personal and professional lives. I’ve owned a couple side businesses, and I’ve found success in marketing and sales corporate jobs, but the one thing that continues to emerge in my story is simply my love for developing and coaching people.

When you win, I win.
